Ziyu Shen has served as our director and Chief Executive Officer since November 2019 and our Chairman since May 2021. Mr. Shen has served as director and Chief Executive Officer of Hubei ECARX from 2017 to 2022. Prior to founding ECARX, Mr. Shen served as General Manager of Shanghai Pateo Network Technology Service Co., Ltd. from October 2012 to March 2016. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shen was an industry director of T-Systems P.R. China Ltd. from October 2011 to October 2012, and before then he worked at Shanghai OnStar Telematics Service Co., Ltd. as senior manager from August 2009 to October 2011, and had worked as an engineer and then as a senior manager at Shanghai General Motors Company Limited from August 2006 to August 2008. Mr. Shen received a master’s degree in information security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008.
Peter Cirino has served as our Chief Operating Officer since September 2022. Mr. Cirino has more than 25 years’ experience in automotive technology and electronics having led organizations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Most recently, Mr. Cirino led Aptiv’s connections systems business in the Americas. Prior to Aptiv, he led A123 Systems, an emerging lithium-ion battery business operating across China, Europe and North America. Mr. Cirino has a BS Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and MBA from Duke University, both in the US.
Dylan Jeng has served as Chief Financial Officer of ECARX since March 2026. He is responsible for the company’s global finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, capital markets, investor relations, and risk management. With a strong track record in scaling technology-driven businesses, Mr. Jeng plays a key role in shaping ECARX’s financial strategy as the company expands its global footprint in intelligent mobility and automotive technology solutions.
Mr. Jeng brings more than 25 years of global corporate finance and capital markets experience across the technology, automotive, and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining ECARX, he served as a Financial Executive at Foxconn, where he specialized in corporate finance strategy across AI, robotics, and electric vehicle initiatives. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of XAG, a leading agricultural technology company, where he led the company’s China A-share IPO initiative and international expansion strategy.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Jeng held senior corporate finance roles at I-Mab Biopharma, where he helped lead the company’s successful NASDAQ IPO. He also served as Vice President of Global Tax at SciClone Pharmaceuticals, where he led corporate restructuring efforts for a privatization transaction and supported post-acquisition financial strategy. He began his career advising multinational clients at leading professional services firms, KPMG and PwC, where he specialized in capital markets transactions, cross-border M&A, and tax strategy.
Mr. Jeng earned a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Long Island University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of New York. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr. Jeng is active in governance and advisory roles, serving as Chairman of iCana and as a board observer for several technology companies, including FARobot, Linker Vision, and indiGO Technologies.
